Set in a hellish dreamscape subverting the archetypal shanshui or Chinese rockery, video game film ‘InfiniteMother_v1.0’ bridges connections that cannot be lost—such as inherited genetics—with the filial regret of a wounded Daughter, who anthromophorizes herself into an insectoid. In a last-ditch attempt, the Daughter seeks the attention of an emotionally-absent mother who busies herself over-cultivating a garden at the expense of nurturing her children.
