'Dolphins in Reservoir' is an interactive and recombinant work that employs moving images, text and sound. It confronts some of the major social challenges (climate, disease, authoritarianism and technological change) that we face. Saturated with media, the individual experiences a multimodal montage of the imaginal and the mundane, the institutional and the vernacular, the dystopian and utopian; discourses over which they have limited control.
The work can run either automatically or at the pace of user clicks. In either version, the media elements can be moved with the cursor. There are periods at the end of a cycle when the click is deactivated.
