Foreigners
Irrelevant

The re-animated Marshall McLuhan flies to Washington to testify before Congress about foreign ownership of U.S. media concerns.
"The matter is irrelevant," he explains. "You're all foreigners here."
McLuhan takes a long lunch with the Speaker of the House, listening patiently to that gentleman's thoughts about education, infrastructure, and media development. The two ex-professors get along famously.
"A great guy," McLuhan confides to his diary, "but a true conservative would have fewer beliefs."
