The Tell-Tale Orb

So you need a little help sorting out your life, eh? No shame in that. Sometimes it's hard to tell where you've been and where you're going. If you think about it, though, life is really just like a set of commands that we type in our brain, instructions that we give it for what to do, what to say, where to go next. You have control of how your current story moves by the commands that you give it, that you type at the top of the screen. If you want to go to check to see if your granny remembered to email you to wish you a happy birthday, what do you do? What do you do to find out the latest gossip from your friend about what your ex is doing? That's right, you go to your computer, open a browser, and type "mail.yahoo.com" in the url field. If you really think about it, the way we use our browsers is kind of like the way we allow ourselves to move through life. Sure, the "website," our bodies and actual brains, stays the same, but we're constantly taking our lives through different pages on that site. One day we might feel http://www.life.com/awesome.html, the next day we might feel lame.html or maybe bloated.html or even superhotinmynewkicks.html. In order to figureout.html what to do with our lives.html, sometimes we have to be willing to puzzle through things and type up a new direction.html for ourselves. Give it a shot - both Dr. Phil and Al Gore would be so proud!
